The Michelle Danner Los Angeles acting school offers short term summer and winter intensives for the beginner, intermediate and advanced actor. Our training conservatory is for actors interested in learning the craft at a more accelerated pace. The techniques are diverse and encompass the following schools of acting: Meisner, Hagen, Strasberg, Chekhov, Adler, and the Stanislavsky Technique. We also provide M1 visa sponsorship for international actors wishing to train for 6 or 12 month.

Our program is designed equally for beginning actors as well as those with experience, our Acting for Film School programs provide actors with modern on-camera acting techniques plus a foundation of acting training rooted in time-honored theatrical traditions.
Our instructors are all professional, working actors, writers, directors, and producers – veterans of Hollywood, independent film, television, Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theater – and they give each student the personal focus and rigorous discipline necessary for launching a career in film and television.

Unlike other acting schools, we provide all of our acting students with an intense acting for film and theater program but with practical filmmaking experience under their belt as well.

 

Opportunities for Students
Our students have the ability to be part of the following: film productions, film festivals and/or theater productions, take a look below at the 3 different websites: all in films, cinema at the edge and Edgemar center for the arts. Students have the opportunity to audition for acting parts or work/intern on our latest movies, audition for the various theater productions, and participate in our yearly film festival. These opportunities give students the chance to build their resumes and IMDB credits, through practical training.

Her production company All In Films is in development for several film projects: “You’re on the Air”, “The Bandit Hound”, and “The Will to…” She finished the feature film “Hello Herman” starring Norman Reedus, Martha Higareda, and Garrett Backstrom. The movie premiered to a sold out crowd at the Hollywood Film Festival in October, and will premiere at the Monaco Film Festival on May 7th, 2013. The film opens on June 7, 2013 in 10 major cities across North America, with simultaneous availability on Time Warner On-Demand in 100 million US homes.
She co-produced  the  feature films How  to  go out  on a Date in Queens and Hello Herman, which will be released on June 7th. Alexandra has had a long collaboration with director Henry Jaglom, producing  his critically acclaimed play Always but Not Forever, his  runaway hit Just 45 Minutes from Broadway that ran successfully for over a year, and recently The Rainmaker which has garnered LA Times Critics Pick.  Alexandra also produced THANK Q – A World Music Tribute to the Humanitarian Works  of  Quincy  Jones.
