FELIX, 13 (lead role), grieving the loss of his mother, struggles w/changes. Through his determination to keep his mom’s legacy alive, he finds his voice & confidence. Felix transforms from a stuck kid into a leader who embraces change; reconnecting w/his family & community. He moves forward without letting go of the past, merging his mother’s teachings w/newfound strength & his wildly imaginative creativity.
FELIX doesn’t need to say a word – for us to see the world in his eyes. His quiet moments & nuances are key.
He is NOT a “show” kid (if it feels like “acting” or over-the-top, it’s NOT right for this role). Ability to sing a plus! If so, please mention. Child Auditions
Synopsis:
A beloved annual Christmas pageant is on the brink of falling apart when one boy, who hears the music others don’t, may be the only chance it has to survive. Felix struggles to preserve his late mother’s legacy by saving the beloved Christmas pageant she once directed. Faced w/a new director’s sweeping changes & a missing star performer, Felix rallies his friends & discovers his own creativity to bring the show to life in this imaginatively inspired twist on a traditional Christmas pageant. Through resilience & the power of community, Felix honors his mother’s memory while stepping into his own future.

ACTING TECHNIQUE FOR FILM & TV& IMPROVISATION CLASS FOR KIDS AND TEENS
Develop stage presence as well as patience, self-confidence, good communication skills, and a respect for other performers and their creativity.
In this interactive class, students will develop a solid acting technique and foundation.
Working on fun improvisational games & exercises.
Students will also work on auditioning for film and television material and practice auditioning techniques.
They will also be working on scenes & monologues from comedy to drama.

This class focuses on voice and speech. Opening up your diaphragm and teaching
you how to access your inner vocal strength and empower your voice.

Work on audition or self tape audition scenes with a private acting coach.
Learn to develop a solid acting technique and foundation.
Material maybe assigned ahead of time or you can send us the sides for the audition you are preparing you need to prepare for,
Learn to form a toolbox of your own and develop a comprehensive set of “acting tools” when approaching a role or a scene whether it be for film, television, or theater. You can also work on scenes & monologues from comedy to drama.
