Is your child or teen interested in exploring broadcasting and journalism?

1 Week Broadcast Journalism Camp, for kids & teens.

Students produce a newscast including segments in politics, current events, sports, arts and entertainment.

They gain real-world skills by creating their news projects, and anchoring segments of the newscast they produce.

They will learn the digital news production process from start-to-finish. The week-long camp culminates with a complete newscast created, produced and anchored by the students.

Throughout this hands-on BROADCAST JOURNALISM program, aspiring digital journalists and reporters will learn:

1-Research, write, direct, and produce their own news stories.

2-Work on projects such as a 30-second  to 90-second news package.

3-Gain technical skills in video production and editing, composition, scene exposure.

4-Edit their work, and learn how to use industry-standard software.

5-Learn to develop and hone their skills in the following areas: Research and Preparation, Interviewing

·         Television Anchoring

·         Reporting

·         Debating

·         Post-Production Producing & Editing

·         Vocal Coaching

August 5TH-August 9th- Monday through Friday from 10am – 2:30pm

**Each week is a different topic and the tuition for one week is $655 dollars
