Michelle Danner is an international film director & acting coach and has distilled the best of each of these techniques, Stella Adler, The Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Chekhov, & the Stanislavsky Technique in which artists can draw upon the major acting techniques, utilizing the strengths of each technique. Michelle Danner’s acting technique & philosophy called “The Golden Box” is based on the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg’s Method, Stella Adler, Stanislavski’s System, Uta Hagen, and the Chekhov technique.

Audition for Film & TV on camera class:

Actors practice in front of the camera with sides from movies and TV shows ranging from comedy, sitcom, romantic comedy, slapstick, and all genres of dramatic writing.

Scene Study for beginners/intermediate & advanced actors:

Discover your strengths and weaknesses with the help of a trained director’s eye.

ACTING THEORY:

THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE, STRASBERG, STELLA ADLER ACTING TECHNIQUES. This intensive is a practical hands on approach to acting utilizing the Meisner acting technique, Strasberg and Stella Adler’s approach to acting and study of theatre history through 1860 – present day.We will cover the modern masters using Checkhov, Ibsen, Strindberg, Beckett, Inge, Albee, Miller, Williams, Mamet, Shepard and Kushner’s plays as the landscape.
