* How does one create raw and unforgettable performances?
* What tools specifically can be applied to television, film, and stage?
* How does one develop a deep personal story from nothing and discover interesting material for a one-man show, short, screenplay or novel?
The class is will be supported by film clips. There are discussions and analyses of performances by Judi Dench, Meryl Streep, Anthony Hopkins, James Dean, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, and other actors.
