How to Transfer Your Student Visa (F-1) to the Conservatory
Step-by-Step Visa Transfer Process:
- Notify Your Current School
- Speak to your Designated School Official (DSO)
- Request a SEVIS record transfer
- Apply to the Los Angeles Acting Conservatory
- Submit your application online
- Include transcripts and passport copy
- Receive Your New I-20
- Once accepted, the Conservatory will issue a new Form I-20
- This form is essential for your visa transfer
- SEVIS Update
- Your SEVIS record will be transferred to us
- You won’t need to leave the U.S. if done correctly
- Start Classes
- You must begin your new program within 5 months of transferring
