Around the World Summer Camps
What?: Children from 6-8 will take a continent-spanning trip through traditions and languages in our Spanish, Italian and French Summer camps! Your child will be immersed in these different cultures as your child explores and creates different characters thru drama games, music and dance. We will tour the globe as your children dance, laugh, play and increase their knowledge of these different cultures!

Where?:*This summer camp in Santa Monica will be held at the Edgemar Center for the Arts
When?: One weekly camps run Monday through Friday 9am-3:30pm/ Final performances held on the Main Stage at 2:30 on Fridays.

MICHELLE DANNER’S SUMMER CAMPS IN LOS ANGELES FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS
ACTING/SINGING/FILM SUMMER CAMPS IN LOS ANGELES
JUNE 27TH – AUGUST 22ND 2016
Michelle Danner is the founder and artistic director of The Edgemar Center for the Arts and is a renowned actor, film director, and award-winning acting coach. Michelle directed and produced the film “Hello Herman” starring Norman Reedus (AMC’s “The Walking Dead”) as well as “Bandit Hound” a comedy for the whole family released on April 12, 2006 through her production company All In Films http://www.allinfilms.com. As an acting coach, Michelle has worked with A List talent privately and on set, including Salma Hayek, Gerard Butler, Chris Rock, Seth MacFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Michael Pena, Isla Fisher, Common, and Zooey Deschanel.
MAKE A MOVIE CAMP FOR CHILDREN & TEENS
Ages: 7-11/Ages 12-16
What?: Students will write and star in their own original short film. Our instructors will guide them as they take their thoughts and ideas to the page, and from the page to the screen. This is a one-of-a-kind experience, and we are thrilled to be able to to see what ideas our students come up with and help make it a reality on screen!

ACTING & IMPROVISATION CAMP FOR CHILDREN & TEENS
AGES: 7-11/Ages 12-16
IMPROV WORKOUT: Fun improvisational games & exercises.Discover characters you never knew you could play by being thrown into situations where you don’t have time to think.
AUDITIONING FOR FILM AND TELEVISION ON CAMERA: Practice auditioning techniques & get on camera experience.
SCENE STUDY: The best way to learn is through hands on experience with direction. Work on scenes & monologues
VOICE INTENSIVE: Vocal and speech exercises.
When?: *This summer camp will be held Monday through Friday 9am-3:30pm/Final performance will be held on the Main Stage at 2:30pm on Friday.

SINGING CAMP FOR CHILDREN & TEENS
AGES: 7-11/Ages 12-16
What?: DO YOU LOVE TO ACT, SING AND DANCE? This high energy singing Summer Camp will incorporate acting, singing and dancing. We will create our own mini version of a musical.
Where?: *This summer camp in Santa Monica will be held at Edgemar Center for the Arts.
When?: Monday through Friday 9am-3:30pm/Final performance will be held on the Main Stage at 2:30pm on Friday.
