Chilean Actor from the the Cast of TV’s “Fabulosas Flores” on “La Red” Lands Role in Hollywood Movie Staring Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead!
PLEASE BEGIN WITH A BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF YOURSELF.
I believe that personal goals are there for us to pursue. They aren’t in our lives for us to later look back at them and think “Why didn´t I pursue them?” I decided to be an actor in 2006, and since then, I never thought about quiting. I love my profession as much as I do because it’s complex, challenging and gives you many perks in your personal life. I am a person that believes in his abilities and fighting to the end. I also like to watch people and see their happiness or sadness.
WHAT FIRST DREW YOU TO ACTING?
The movies are what inspired me to become an actor. I remember a point in my life around the age of fifteen when I was so into watching movies that I saw a new film every day. In time, I decided that I had everything it took to be an actor; to be just as good or even better. I remember when I was going to school in Chile, I got so good at imitating my teachers for instance, I imitated all fifteen of all them! That’s when I really began to enjoy acting and public speaking. I then started taking acting classes until I decided to pursue a career in acting.
DO YOU HAVE ANY FUTURE PROJECTS PLANNED?
I am actually going to be in two upcoming feature films directed by acting coach, Michelle Danner herself! One is going to be a fascinating Documentary on the acting craft itself while the other is going to be the much anticipated sequel to the film, The Bandit Hound! (Go to allinfilms.com to find out more!).
But personally, I am currently in the process of also finalizing a short film that I co-wrote with two talented actresses from the Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting School. The project is in it’s early stages of production.
I’ve also written my own scripts here that I intend to turn into short films. In the end, it’s just great that I’ve already done commercial work back in Chile.
I was also fortunate enough to work in L.A on a Project called “Poe Blackwood Tale” and the short film “Come Autumn”. These two projects so far have been my experience in LA. But I’m sure new opportunities will be coming. It’s also worth noting that I also had the chance to star in a series that I did in Chile called “The Fabulous Flowers”. I also have a Direct TV commercial that is airing across Latin America right now!
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE LIKE IN THE MICHELLE DANNER ACTING SCHOOL?
It been a wonderful experience. Within the first week of attending this acting school, I was shocked to be cast so quickly in the Hollywood film Hello Herman that starred The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus. It’s currently out on DVD in 100 million homes across the US. It was a big surprise coming to the Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting School. I have learned so many new things, the quality of teachers has been first rate and they all care enough to help you with whatever you need. My favorite class is “Scene Study” because it has been the class that has allowed me to perform monologues from the films and shows I love most. Michelle Danner also has an incredible talent to transmit knowledge, that has proven useful everytime.
And for our readers, please look forward to more interviews with aspiring actors and dreamers as we share what stories our students bring from their homes and journeys. More to come from Michelle Danner’s acting school !
