The 5th Annual Cinema at the Edge Independent Film Festival (CATE) presents films of all genres that feature a distinct vision, a unique voice or a challenge to what is expected and accepted in the medium. Our film festival is now accepting submissions for Narrative Features, Documentaries, and Shorts.Festival Director Michelle Danner is thrilled to now invite the global independent film community to submit their finest work to this vibrant, beachside community during CATE 2017.
We are so excited to announce our 5th annual Cinema At The Edge Film Festival. As in recent years we are proud to present Independent Feature Films, Documentaries and Shorts Films from all over the world and of all genres that feature a distinct vision, a unique voice or a challenge to the status quo. A community staple, CATE was born out of a desire to showcase innovative films, with a commitment to quality, which push industry boundaries and explore cutting-edge cinema. 80 Movies! 9 Feature Films! 4 Full Length Documentaries!8 Short Blocks and 4 Short Documentary Blocks with over 65 Films! As with prior festivals, our line up this year is truly international and features a variety of submissions from many different countries including Germany, Peru, Latvia, Iran, Belgium, Greece and many more.
