New film `Miranda´s victim

Andy Garcia is staring in a courtroom drama Miranda’s Victim from director Los Angeles acting coach (link this keyword to her bio) and Director Michelle Danner. Garcia will star opposite Abigail Breslin, Luke Wilson and Donald Sutherland in the film, which is written by J. Craig Stiles and George Kolber.
The film Miranda´s victim will tell the true story of Trish Weir (Breslin), who in 1963 was kidnapped and brutally raped by Ernesto Miranda. Committed to putting her assailant in prison, Trish’s life is destroyed by America’s legal system as she triggers a law that transforms the nation.
Wilson will play Lawrence Turoff, the country prosecutor that convinces Trish to testify and helps her bring her aggressor to justice, with Garcia as public defender Alvin Moore in Miranda´s Victim, who takes on Miranda’s case, and Sutherland as Judge Wren, who convicts Miranda for the rape of Weir. Michelle Danner is a film and stage director, an author, and a world-renowned acting coach. She teaches the Golden Box Acting workshops in South America, Europe, Canada, Dubai, New York, and Australia. Michelle has taught acting for the last 29 years and has worked with many A-List Actors privately and on set such as Henry Cavill, Gerard Butler, Abigail Breslin, Zooey Deschanel, Penelope Cruz, Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, James Franco, Seth Macfarlane, Michelle Rodriguez, Isla Fisher, Luke Wilson, Emily Van Camp, Donald Sutherland, Kyle MacLachlan, Mireille Enos, Taryn Manning, Ryan Phillippe, Chris Rock, Enrique Murciano, Josh Bowman.
Michelle has directed and acted in over thirty plays and musicals in New York and Los Angeles. Her favorite acting and directing credits include Tennessee William’s The Rose Tattoo, which garnered critic’s pick and awards including best actress and directing Jane Fonda in the Court of Public Opinion starring Anne Archer.
In 2006, she made her feature film directing debut How to go Out on a Date in Queens, starring Jason Alexander, Esai Morales and Ron Perlman.
Her second film Hello Herman starring Norman Reedus, Martha Higareda, and Garrett Backstrom. It premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival to a sold out audience and had its international premiere at the Monaco Charity Film Festival where it won the award for social relevance. The Bandit Hound, directed by Michelle Danner, a family comedy starring Catherine Bell, Lou Ferigno, Judd Nelson, Paul Sorvino, and Verne Troyer, was released in 2016.
