Michelle Danner Los Angeles acting school offers a variety of intensive acting summer camps and filmmaking camps for high school students, spanning from one week to eight weeks in length.
All students completing the film program will have the opportunity to write, direct, and edit their own film projects that they will take home on a flash drive. In line with the mission and philosophy of the Michelle Danner Los Angeles acting school, these programs are intensive and focused on hands-on learning.
Acting for Film camps are focused on teaching students with the practical knowledge they need to deliver a fantastic performance on-camera. These acting programs combine traditional training with courses geared towards building acting techniques for the screen. You will practice in front of the camera with sides from movies and TV shows ranging from comedy, sitcom, romantic comedy, slapstick, and all genres of dramatic writing. Playback is watched on the big screen. You will learn to stamp your signature on a character with unique choices. This class aims to exercise an ease working in front of the camera and the confidence to perform and shine in every audition.
Designed for aspiring musical theatre performers, our acting school in Los Angeles offers Musical Theatre Camps is an immersive experience like no other. Students study under Broadway professionals to learn the foundational skills of musical theatre while studying in either New York City, the home of Broadway, or at Harvard University.
