Casting Call | Pilot for HOT MESS EXPRESS, a vertical social media series pilot episode.
LOGLINE: Three roommates fresh out of college must contend with the harsh realities of adulthood. They may be a hot mess, but at least they have each other.
SILVERLAKE (21-25): Quirky and aloof, Silverlake is a born and bred LA weirdo and an aquarius through and through. Despite living in her own world, Silverlake will do anything to keep her friendships intact.
OLIVIA (21-25): Type A. Olivia thrives with rules and structures and can be judgemental towards her friends for not “having their lives together.” She has to learn a hard lesson that sometimes you need to let loose and have fun.
MADISON (21-25): A hopeless romantic and a hot mess, Madison is in the throes of a breakup in which she has lost sight of herself. In order to heal, Madison will have to remember that her friends are there to help her through the hard times.
REESE (21-25): Living his best gay life in WeHo, Reese is the comedic relief that these girls need as their lives fall apart. At the end of the day, he’s just here to have a good time.
DANA (21-28): Madison’s recent ex-girlfriend. When she’s caught making out with her new girlfriend, she experiences Madison’s rage and has to give some tough love.
ETHAN (23-28): Hottie McHottie, at least in Olivia’s eyes. An aspiring actor / professional nepo baby, Ethan is the type of person to bring a guitar to a party. Thrown into the drama of the girls’ friendship, Ethan will eventually show that deep down he’s a loveable goofball who means well.
