Week By Week
Our on-camera acting classes for all levels take place during an 8-week acting workshop, where you’ll learn how to audition, what to wear, and what casting directors look for in great actors.
Week 1 & 2
To start the audition class, you’ll examine acting techniques for auditioning and cold reading. You’ll gain insights on how to understand subtext, beats, and transitions, which are all very important timing aspects for the audition.
Week 3 & 4
This is when you start to study yourself and learn how to identify your physical and vocal triggers. You’ll dive into the character’s psyche and begin to understand what drives the conflict and narrative.
Weeks 5 & 6
Here you’ll really begin to connect with your character by exploring the wants and objectives that propel them through the story. We’ll also teach you how to incorporate blocking in this on-camera acting class and move beyond the basic on-camera methods to help you gain greater confidence on set.
