CASTING CALL
We have a situation here and are still looking for a young actor for the role referenced. It’s shooting this weekend! Hoping you have someone you can recommend. The filmmakers will schedule a Zoom audition as soon as is convenient. The script is attached. Rollo is in Scene 7, page 2-5 and reappears Scene 8, page 6. It’s a great supporting role. The tape and experience will be first rate. This should be a young actor who is very grounded, who listens well, and who is committed to the process!
ROLLO Casting Call
9-14 years old TO PLAY 10-12; An impish Black boy with a heart of gold! He’s more concerned with candy and catfish than the real-world vision that his best friend, Eden, has for their future –– escape to a better life. Raised in a brothel with a mom who works there, he doesn’t see much beyond his daily chores and the fate life has handed him. Still a pure spirit who can rise to the occasion should the need arise. Cute as a button. **Actor will be acting alongside the role of SHERIFF. He and the Sheriff will interact in a scene with some implied roughness. NO PHYSICAL CONTACT WILL BE MADE. Actor will not be exposed to any physical harm.SUPPORTING
