Seeking multi-faceted and passionate male improvisational actors, male dancers, and male singers for “The Night of the Black Cat,” a musical. Rehearsals begin in mid Oct; opens mid-November at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, CA.
BILL – Male, early to late 20’s, a soldier in the US army during W.W.2 on leave in Paris with his fellow soldiers. Bill is strong and confident, a brave soldier who is devastated when he learns his girlfriend back home has left him. Needs to sing and/or dance.
RUSSELL – Male, early to late 20’s, a soldier in the US army during W.W.2 on leave in Paris with his fellow soldiers. Russell is a big guy. He is the cocky, wisecracker of the group, which is a cover for his terror of fighting in battle. Needs to sing and/or dance.
KURT – Male, late 20’s to late 30’s, a businessman in Paris during W.W.2 who is actually a spy for the German army. Needs to sing and/or dance.
PAUL – Male, late 20’s to late 30’s, the bartender at the black cat in Paris.He is in love with one of the chores girls at the club who spurns his affections. Needs to sing and/or dance.
