Nour Ghallale Conquers the Big Screen With Up Coming Film Opposite the Incredible Hulk directed by Michelle Danner

WHAT FIRST DREW YOU TO ACTING?

My father was a theatre director and my mother was an artist, so I’ve always been surrounded by art. One of the earliest memories I have was watching the rehearsals for a play my father was directing for at the Festival d’Avignon and memorizing all the actors’ lines. I was three years old. Since then, I couldn’t see myself being anything but an actor.

WHAT WAS YOU PERFORMANCE EDUCATION LIKE?

I started taking acting classes when I was a kid in Paris. Since then I’ve taken acting classes at many schools like the Acting Conservatory of Luxembourg City, Parallax Brussels and the well-known Cours Florent. Even when at times when I wasn’t sure about my future, I was studying other subjects like journalism, communication, filmmaking and editing. But no matter what I was doing, I always felt the need to come back to acting, as if a part of myself was missing without it.

DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING ACTORS? 

The best advice I could give would be to never give up. It’s a very challenging work. It’s not easy and you can feel very overwhelmed by the concurrency, but never forget that every actor is different and don’t all fit the same typical roles. But most of all, stay humble. In my opinion, humility is the best quality an actor can ever have.

Thanks to the Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting School, I’ve been able to meet great people who I have shared experiences with. The great thing is that we all have the same aspirations we understand one another. And feel pulled to help one another and create new projects with each other
